Chained Together immerses players in a mission "to escape hell by climbing as high as possible." Starting in "the depths of hell," players are chained to their co-op partners (up to four in local multiplayer), requiring perfect coordination for each jump as they ascend.
The game features various worlds with unique scenarios, enhanced by realistic physics simulations of the chain binding players. There is also an option for a solo climb.
Difficulty Modes:
- Beginner: Teleport back to the highest point reached before a significant fall.
- Normal: No specific help; players must start over after a fall.
- Lava: Climb quickly to avoid being engulfed by lava.
Only the Normal and Lava modes support leaderboards and Steam achievements.
