On July 3, Christian McCaffrey, the San Francisco 49ers star, defended his wife in the comments of Bingham's video, describing the influencer's post as "evil." He wrote:
"What an evil thing to post online. I hope you can find joy and peace in the world, the way my beautiful wife does."
Olivia Culpo echoed her husband's sentiments, calling Bingham an "evil person" for sharing the "extremely hurtful" video.
