Unveiling the Launch Date of iQOO Z9x in India
Last month, the iQOO Z9x made its debut in China, and now it's set to hit the Indian market on May 16.
While the pricing for the Indian variant hasn't been disclosed yet, iQOO has confirmed that it will be available for purchase through its official Indian website and Amazon.in.
Teasers from iQOO India showcase the Z9x sporting a dual-camera setup on the rear, with a prominent 50MP sensor, mirroring its Chinese counterpart.
If the Indian version follows the specifications of the Chinese model (distinct from the Z9 in both regions), it will boast the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, a 6.72-inch 120Hz FullHD+ LCD display, and a hefty 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
The Indian variant of the iQOO Z9x will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a triple-camera setup, comprising a 50MP primary shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP selfie camera.
Additionally, it will come with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. However, unlike its Chinese counterpart, which runs on OriginOS, the Indian version will ship with Funtouch OS out of the box.
Interestingly, the iQOO Z9x seems to be a rebranded version of the vivo T3x, which is already available in India.
Nevertheless, it's expected that the iQOO Z9x will cater to a different audience segment and may have a distinct pricing strategy. More details will be unveiled next Thursday, but in the meantime, you can explore our initial impressions of the iQOO Z9 Indian model for further insights.
