The pivotal moment came on June 12, 1994, when his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman were found murdered outside her Brentwood condo.

Instead of surrendering, he attempted to flee in his white Ford Bronco, leading to a widely televised slow-speed chase on June 17 that captivated an audience of approximately 95 million people.
