A fortunate lottery player in Pennsylvania hit the jackpot on Monday night, matching all six numbers to secure a stunning $213.8 million Powerball prize. The winning ticket was purchased at AJ's Pizza on Harts Run Road in Pittsburgh, which will receive a $100,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
The winner has the option to take a lump sum payment of $106.4 million instead of the annuity option. This marks the 20th time a Powerball jackpot has been won in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko extended congratulations to both the winner and AJ's Pizza. “The Pennsylvania Lottery congratulates the lucky winner and our retailer, AJ's Pizza, for selling this big Powerball jackpot-winning ticket,” Svitko stated.

The last Powerball jackpot was claimed on July 3, when an Ohio player won $139.3 million. With this win, the Powerball jackpot will reset to $20 million for Wednesday’s drawing.
